Max’s ChromaGen Success Story

Max Sporting His ChromaGen Glasses

Our son Max was recently diagnosed with dyslexia.  The road to this discovery has been filled with struggle, anxiety, uncertainty, and sadness.  Over the last couple of years we had seen a boy who was filled with joy and laughter have the frustration associated with not being able to read and write affect his confidence.  Max was starting to hate the learning process due to his inability to read and was experiencing physical symptoms relating to the anxiety of going to school.

Before his diagnosis, we had tried everything from occupational therapy, visual processing therapy, and all sorts of tests trying to figure out why he wasn’t progressing in school.  We even took him to a neurologist who in a matter of 10 minutes misdiagnosed him with ADHD and suggested we put him on medication which we were against.  We decided to take him for a second opinion.  We took him to an amazing doctor who tested Max and diagnosed him with dyslexia.  He tested high IQ in everything other than visual, which brought his results way down.

Because of his diagnosis and his struggle with learning, Max was placed in a special program at school, with smaller classes and more personal attention.  In the mornings, he attends this program for reading and math and is then mainstreamed for the rest of the day.  As parents we felt devastated!  We saw our child feel different, insecure, and struggling to read and write.  He would see his friends read and we knew this affected his confidence.

We recently found out about Chromagen glasses.  We were excited about the possibilities.  The moment Max took the test to see if he was a candidate his comment to the doctor was that the letters stopped moving and popping out.  It’s been two weeks since we received the glasses and we notice a HUGE difference in our child already.  The change was immediate.  Our son was excited about wearing his glasses and all he wanted to do was read.  The first day, he read for about 2 hours and then mentioned that “reading is out of this world”!  He also wanted to go to the bookstore the next day and buy chapter books.  We saw so much excitement in Max…for the first time, we saw him feel confident about reading…about going to school.  He even said he was going to read at recess!!  As he described it: “the letters stopped moving, mom!”  His behavior also changed dramatically.  He was no longer acting out…we saw a happy, confident kid who wasn’t frustrated anymore.

His teacher also mentioned that she has seen a big change in Max. He has a new level of confidence.  For the first time, we see that he believes in himself!  Today Max read a second grade level passage with his tutor (Max is in first grade).  She was in complete awe! We are thrilled with the results so far and are so excited for the possibilities.  We are true believers in this product.  This has been an unbelievable miracle for Max, a life changer!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Why visitors still make use of to read news papers when in this technological world the whole thing is available on web?

Great blog! Have you got any suggestions for aspiring writers?

I’m planning to start out my very own blog soon but I’m
a little bit lost on everything. Can you propose starting with a free of charge platform like Wordpress or get a
paid option? There are many options on the market that I’m totally overwhelmed ..
Any recommendations? Kudos!
